Project: Build an Addition & ADU
Comments: Rich is an amazing contractor! He is knowledgeable, efficient, professional and has been a joy to work with. We had a large scale project, basically gutted our house, added a addition and and built a ADU(Granny cottage). As home owners it was intimidating amount if work. Rich walked us through every step of the way and we are THRILLED with the outcome. Our house is gorgeous and everything we dreamed of. The level of detail and experience he brought to the table far surpassed our expectations. Contractors, especially in the Bay Area don't have the best reputation this is not the case with Rich. Our project was on time and on budget. Inspections were a breeze and his ability to plan ahead made everything run smooth. I highly recommend R.H. Custom Remodel, hiring Rich was the key component that made our project a reality.

Project: Home Additon & Remodel or Renovate One or More Rooms
Comments: I loved working with Rich. I had done a lot of research in advance regarding what I wanted to do so I was very clear about what needed to be done. We remodeled the kitchen, removed walls from the dining room, added on a master bedroom, master bath and dressing area. In addition, we installed new heating and AC and upgraded the pipes and electrical. Rich and his team were easy to work with. I was pleased with his professionalism and work ethic. He was working with us for many months and was realistic about the costs and time it would take. He was always there when he said he would be and delivered exactly what we expected. As a single woman home owner, I was very pleased that Rich never spoke down to me, he respected my opinions and the research that I did. He made great suggestions to make the end result even better. And he backs up his work as well. He checks up on his work months after the fact to make sure it's stood the test of time (and house settling). If I ever need work done on my home again, I am definitely calling Rich!

Project: Build an Addition
Comments: We have hired Rich twice. First for master bath remodel, created a laundry room, and removed our old 1959 chimney/fireplace and replaced with a stunning, modern, wide, in wall, gas fireplace. We then hired him for a 600 sq addition, 2 bd, 2 br and hallway. He was very easy to work with and very professional. He never missed a day and he was hands-on for the entire process.
